Swedish cellist Jakob Koranyi is a ‘force to be reckoned with’ (The Strad),
who has firmly established himself as one of Europe’s most interesting
soloists. Acclaimed for his commanding virtuosity, delicate sound, and
passion for diverse and innovative programming, Koranyi has toured
Europe and North America extensively.
Finghin Collins makes a significant contribution to the musical landscape
of his native Ireland, where he resides. Since 2013, he has been Artistic
Director of Music for Galway. He is also the founding Artistic Director of
the New Ross Piano Festival in Wexford as well as the Artistic Director of
the Dublin International Piano Competition. Recently he has performed
at the Verbier and Zermatt Festivals in Switzerland and Piano aux
Jacobins and Nohant Festival Chopin in France. During the 2025/26
season Collins performed at the Wigmore Hall in London as well as in
Korea, Switzerland, Mexico, Portugal, Ireland and Cyprus.
