Camerata Kilkenny - Music from Georgian Dublin
Prior to their October appearance at the Varazdin Baroque Festival in Croatia Camerata Kilkenny play music which would have been performed in the concert halls and grand houses of 18th century Georgian Dublin when Handel visited and Geminiani lived in the city.

Since its first concert at the 1999 Kilkenny Arts Festival Camerata Kilkenny has performed at major festivals in Ireland, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Latvia, Estonia, Finland and Italy. Guest artists, including tenor Mark Padmore, violinist Bojan Čičić, sopranos Lenneke Ruiten and Maria Keohane, uilleann piper David Power, cellist Thomas Demenga, the Calmus Ensemble of Leipzig and flautist Wilbert Hazelzet have performed and recorded with Camerata Kilkenny. Their CDs of Bach’s Musical Offering, Biber Mystery Sonatas, Bach Arias (Maya Recordings) and The Piper and the Fairy Queen (Lyric FM label) have been critically acclaimed. Upcoming concerts include an appearance at the Varaždin Festival in Croatia, the East Cork Early Music Festival and the Valletta Baroque Festival in Malta.
